Download and build zpew for macOS and Windows

Command-line tool

You need CMake 3.25 or newer and a C++20 compiler: Apple Clang on macOS, or Visual Studio 2022 or newer on Windows.

cd zpew
cmake --preset macos-release
cmake --build --preset macos-release

On Windows, use the windows-msvc preset from a Developer PowerShell for Visual Studio.

The desktop app needs Node.js 24. This builds it and opens it on simulated data:

python3 python/simulate_data.py
cd desktop
npm ci
npm start -- --manifest ../data/synthetic/manifest.json

npm run package builds an installer for your platform.

Builds for macOS and Windows will be published on GitHub releases with version 1.0.
